We based our selection on the actor’s versatility, main genre, or personality, and we hope you will agree with us! Charismatic, fierce, and tactical are the key words for our K-Celebs cast!

Song KangHo as King Viserys Targaryen
Viserys Targaryen was the fifth son of the Old King Jaehaerys and was eventually chosen by the lords of the Seven Kingdoms to rule over his cousin, Rhaenys Targaryen. He was a level-headed ruler who managed to maintain a peaceful reign despite his various challenges. Viserys married Alicent Hightower, the best friend of his daughter Princess Rhaenyra, after his wife’s death. The couple had several children, including Aegon Targaryen, his first son. Although he had named Rhaenyra as his heir, the birth of Aegon caused a dispute regarding his succession. We think the veteran actor Song KangHo would play a nice and gentle king as he usually portrays characters that like to help others, and deeply love their family!
Kim HyeSoo as Princess Rhaenys Targaryen
Before the Iron Throne was established, Rhaenys was a potential candidate for the throne. However, the lords of Winterfell decided to give Viserys the Iron Throne instead. Rhaenys is now wed to the powerful Lord Corlys, and she is the mother of two children, Laenor and Laena. Rhaenys is now known as “the queen who never was”. We think the great actress Kim HyeSoo would play Princess Rhaenys well as she is used to embodying royalty members in a lot of her works.
Kim NamGil as Master Corlys Velaryon
The powerful Lord Corlys is the leader of a well-established family with ancient roots. He is married to Rhaenys, who was passed over to Viserys after she was chosen as his successor. He was known as the Sea Snake when he was younger, and he is now the wealthiest man in the Seven Kingdoms. His wealth includes the largest naval force in the world. He has a powerful position at the court. He is a shrewd man who often disagrees with the king, but he is loyal to the crown. We think the actor Kim NamGil would be perfect for this role, as he’s a traveler and crossed Siberia by boat, just like Corlys who possesses the largest naval force!
Seo YeaJi as Laena Velaryon
Laena Velaryon was the wife of Prince Daemon Targaryen, mother to Baela and Rhaena, and a valiant dragon rider. She was the daughter of Lord Corlys Velaryon and Princess Rhaenys Targaryen. She died during her third pregnancy, before bringing the baby to term. At court, Laena was asked to be King Viserys’ second wife. She was then passed over for Alicent Hightower due to her young age. Laena was supposed to strengthen the alliance between the Targaryen and Velaryon families. We think Seo YeaJi would be a great candidate for Laena’s role as she is a fierce actress, and she’s very versatile!
Yoo JaeMyung as Otto Hightower
Ser Otto was a knight before becoming the King’s main counselor (“the hand”). He is the father of Alicent, who is now queen. Otto was removed from the Small Council due to his lack of loyalty to the king. He was reinstated after the new “hand” passed away. One of the most powerful positions in the Seven Kingdoms is the Hand of the King. This individual is the king’s closest adviser and is the highest-ranking member of the small council. They are also responsible for carrying out the king’s plans. We think that Yoo JaeMyung has everything he needs to play this character, as a wise but calculated Hand of the King.
ASTRO’s Cha EunWoo as Criston Cole
Ser Criston Cole was a skilled knight who is the son of a Lord’s steward. He is known for his exceptional fighting skills and is capable of defeating even Prince Daemon. Princess Rhaenyra selected him to be a part of the Kingsguard when she was young. However, his allegiance eventually changes and he becomes the queen’s sworn protector after he spent a night with the Princess. We think Cha EunWoo is the perfect match to become a Princess or a Queen’s bodyguard. Who wouldn’t fall for this mysterious knight?
Stray Kids’ Felix as Laenor Velaryon (young)
Ser Laenor is the son of Lord Corlys Velaryon and Rhaenys Targaryen. When he was a boy, Laenor was a regular at court and was present during the king’s tournaments. However, in his teens, he was less interested in marriage and more fascinated by young men. After he joined the War for the Stepstones and became the king consort of his cousin Princess Rhaenyra, they had a strong bond between their homes. We think Felix would be a great flower boy to embody the sweet Laenor! Laenor is really kind to Princess Rhaenyra, and so is Felix toward his group’s members!
Lee SangYi as Laenor Velaryon (adult)
He is the king consort and husband of Princess Rhaenyra. Together, they have three sons: Joffrey, Lucerys, and Jacaerys. Laenor wanted to leave the Seven Kingdoms to protect his children from the questions of their legitimacy, and he eventually agreed to do so. This allowed Rhaenyra to get married again, strengthening her claim to the Iron throne. We think Lee SangYi would be a good choice as he’s playful and handsome like Laenor! More than that, he’s also very friendly, and can be cute or serious when needed.
Han SoHee as young Queen Alicent Hightower (young)
Alicent was a childhood friend of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. Through her father, Ser Otto, she developed a strong bond with King Viserys. Their marriage eventually happened. We think the beautiful Han SoHee can portray the best the delicate and fragile Alicent. Han SoHee can be fierce as well, knowing that Alicent will grow into a powerful Queen.
Cho YiHyun as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (young)
Rhaenyra was the first child of Queen Aemma Arryn and King Viserys I. At a young age, her father named her the heir to the Iron throne. She is known as an independent and strong-willed woman. She had been close to Alicent, who was her friend until she was chosen as his second wife. Before she got married to Laenor, she had a difficult relationship with Criston Cole, a knight, and Daemon, her uncle. We think the young actress Cho YiHyun can portray Princess Rhaenyra with her innocent look, but also her cheerfulness and sassiness! Who could be better? And now, that’s your turn to decide. Queen Alicent is the wife of King Viserys I, and she has a strong relationship with her family and house. Daemon Targaryen, the younger brother of King Visery’s I Targaryen, is an unpredictable and fierce warrior. He is known for his ability to ruff feathers, and his skills in sword fighting played a pivital role in the War for the Stepstone. Following the death of his first wife Rhea Royce, he married Laena Velaryon, and they had two daughters, Baela and Rhaena. Daemon and his niece, Princess Rhaenyra, married to strengthen their house and help her claim the Iron Throne. They have two children, Viserys and Aegon. Who do you think between Song SeungHeon, Lee SooHyuk, Lee DongWook and Lee JaeWook should play Prince Daemon?
Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen (adult)
From her marriage to Ser Laenor, Princess Rhaenyra had three sons: Joffrey, Lucerys, and Jacaerys.
